NHS Help Us To Help You Campaign

NHS England has launched the ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign to encourage people who are already being treated for a health issue to keep their routine appointments and those experiencing mental health issues to access NHS services and support. The campaign also encourages people to contact their GP if they are worried about a symptom that could be cancer.

Signs to look out for include unexplained blood, a lump, weight loss which feels significant or an unexplained pain that lasts three weeks or more. And tummy troubles including diarrhoea, bloating or discomfort in the tummy area for three weeks. More information can be downloaded from the Easy Read section of our Resources page. The campaign advises people who have been suffering from any of these symptoms to speak to their GP. While it’s probably nothing serious, any of these symptoms could be a sign of something that needs treatment. If it is cancer, finding it early makes it more treatable and can save lives.

Your NHS is here to see you, safely. Help Us, Help You.
