Advocacy is an important way for people with a learning difficulty to have more choice and control in their lives.



Self-Advocacy is people speaking up for themselves and representing their own interests in things which are important to them.  People may need support and encouragement to do this, and user led self-advocacy groups like Wiltshire People 1st  can help.Speaking up

WiltshirePeople1stAloneWiltshire People 1st supports people to speak up for themselves and each other. We run a Speaking Up Group and Young Person’s Group each month so people can meet, talk, find out about important things that are happening and get involved if they want to.
